Finance Manager

Jgive is seeking a Finance Manager for a key leadership role with full responsibility for managing and leading the organization’s financial operations in Israel and the United States.

The role sits at the heart of Israel’s leading donation platform, while operating at fintech-level standards, including advanced systems, data, processes, and financial controls, within a well-established and fast-growing organization.

In this role, you will lead large-scale financial operations on a robust technological infrastructure serving hundreds of thousands of donors and thousands of nonprofit organizations. The position includes responsibility for transparency, financial oversight, and continuous improvement of processes and systems, as well as close collaboration with significant partners who operate at a high professional standard. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply connected to both financial and technological worlds and is motivated by creating real social impact through their work.

Jgive is a social-tech organization founded in 2014 by the Asor Foundation (registered nonprofit), with the mission of promoting a culture of giving in Israel.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Overall management of financial operations in Israel and the US, with annual volumes totaling hundreds of millions of NIS.
  2. Management and supervision of the accounting function.
  3. Responsibility for accounting records, regulatory reporting, and annual financial statements in Israel and the US.
  4. Management of vendor payments, contracts, and financial engagements.
  5. Responsibility for payroll operations, including processes and controls.
  6. Preparation of annual and multi-year budgets, ongoing budgetary control, and cash flow management.
  7. Leadership of the revenue function, including oversight and reporting of revenues, donations, fees, pricing, and reconciliations between operational and financial systems.
  8. Management of investments and securities portfolios, including collaboration with professional advisors, policy setting, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  9. Leading cross-organizational initiatives to improve, automate, and strengthen financial controls, including work with technological systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment platforms, BI reporting, and data analysis.
  10. Management and leadership of the finance team.

Requirements:

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  2. Proven experience managing financial operations at an organization with annual volumes of hundreds of millions of NIS.
  3. Experience working with investment committees and investment houses.
  4. Experience managing revenue operations, working with growth teams, and understanding financial models and pricing.
  5. Strong ability to work independently, high attention to detail, personal accountability, and a proactive mindset.
  6. High proficiency in Excel and strong ability to work in a technology-driven environment, including financial systems, dashboards, BI tools, and system reconciliations.
