Toldot Yeshurun is a non-profit kiruv organization uniting Russian-speaking Jewry with the support of Gedolei Yisroel. Our main objective is to establish a Russian-speaking religious communities in Israel through creation of an Educational Torah Network, and reconnecting "Russian" Jews to their roots with the help of more than 600 rabbis and Torah teachers.
Toldot Yeshurun organizes many classes, lectures, chavrusas, night kollelim, and communities in various parts of Eretz Yisroel. It also runs a Yeshiva and Collel for Halachic Studies.
In the 2022 our site https://toldot.com was visited more than 23,500,000 times by more than 4,000,000 unique visitors. About 95% of the site is made up of Russian-language materials, and it is the most popular site on the Internet on the topic of Judaism and Russian Jews.
PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN “LEMAAN YELADEINU”
The aim of the project is to help children from Russian-speaking families who have various challenges or learning disabilities to be able to integrate and bring their learning up to par with their Israeli peers. Often, they require only academic help, but sometimes the problem is rooted in a medical, psychological, or social issue. When we say we assist with the children’s education, we do not mean solely tutoring in order to receive good grades. Rather, we are dealing with children who for various reasons fell behind with the learning material or are missing the foundation needed to be up to par with the class, and as a result, not only are they behind, but they also suffer from total lack of motivation to study, psychological, and social skills challenges. In one sentence, what the project does is to help completely turn around a child’s world and change him/her from an unsuccessful child into one who is successful and confident.
Making Aliyah and integrating into a new country and a new society is a tremendous challenge for adults and children alike.
