''When parents get divorced, children end up falling through the cracks''. Aviv organization was established in order to provide and support children who go through the challenges of a divorced family, which includes the emotional, financial and social struggles. There are homes where the battle is far from over and the children are being trampled and pulled apart. There are incidents where the parents are exhausted and broken and the children are left neglected and forgotten. On other occasions, the divorce goes by smoothly but the children are broken from the actual separation. Unfortunately, the divorce rate is high, but no situation is identical to the other, and each case needs it's own individual attention. Aviv organization took upon itself to give peace and tranquillity to the sweet and innocent children by filling their afternoons with a variety of action- filled entertainment. This includes play dates, clubs, parties and more. There are handouts throughout the year, which include all the school supplies which a child needs to go to school with, in order to feel like everybody else. They continue with handouts of clothing before the holidays, distributions of dishes, disposables, cleaning supplies, food and even blankets and pillows for the winter. The day of a child's Bar or Bat mitzvah, is a very fundamental and emotional day , and we are there to make sure that their celebration is like everybody else's. Our organization guides children with their schooling decisions as well as personal guidance for every girl and boy. Aviv organization is there to raise every child's self-esteem, to make sure they have quiet and peaceful afternoons, to give them the tools they need to blossom and thrive and to be equal in society. Their main focus is to see the smiles on these innocent and pure faces.
