Neve Amiel is a caring home for at-risk youth that imparts a life of selfsufficiency and meaning through social responsibility and communal contribution. The Village was founded in 1947 as an agricultural boarding school and home for lone, young immigrants escaping the horrors of World War II as part of the Youth Aliyah movement. The original spirit of building youth by building the State of Israel – of purposeful action and reaction – continues to permeate the purpose and character of our Village. Neve Amiel provides an individualized educational-therapeutic program; empowerment through acquisition of life skills; maximization of each child’s potential; vocational training and high school matriculation; integrated therapeutic intervention for each child and family; intensive army service preparation; a rich social involvement program that encourages volunteering in the community and giving back to others. Neve Amiel Youth Village is located in beautiful Emek Yizrael adjacent to the communal farm Sde Yaakov in northern Israel.
