Morasha (Heritage) Program

Morasha (Heritage) is a Kol Israel Haverim program that works to promote values-based Jewish Education in both secular and religious state schools, addressing the issue of Jewish identity in social context and seeking to foster an atmosphere of mutual responsibility in the school community. Since its founding over 15 years ago, Morasha has developed and introduced innovative approaches in the field of Jewish-identity education, successfully bolstering among pupils a sense of pride in their heritage while encouraging tolerance and mutual respect within the school environment. Morasha is implemented in 32 schools in Israel's geographic and social periphery, reaching thousands of pupils and their families, as well as hundreds of principals, teachers and school staff, generating ever-expanding ripples of influence.
