We seek to bring back the light

Everybody in the kindergarten has gone home. All the other kids were picked up by their parents. Only Jonathan was left behind. The kindergarten teacher looked at him with a worried look. Finally this lady came and said sadly that his mom and dad will not come and that he has to go to another house. His parents will not be there to welcome him but some other people will. They will receive him with love and care and a full heart. Jonathan arrived at the emergency center with a hole in his heart from all the hurt that he has experienced. All the children who find a place at the care and emergency shelters of “A Home for Every Child in Israel” suffer from abuse and neglect in their families. We are here to offer them solace and comfort as well as professional care and treatment. At the emergency center, Jonathan returned to smiling, playing, eating and developing. After several months a good home was found for Jonathan. Jonathan lives today with a loving and caring family while keeping contact with his biological parents. We know we cannot replace the family of any child but we do our best to approximate that warm feeling. Your donation will help us light a candle of warmth and love for these children, and would help them be safe and live with well-being.
