Our dear Yiscah Inbal Shuah, a mother of eight children passed away suddenly at the age of 43, on Shabbat the 17th of Tevet, January 1st, 2021. She had been found positive to Corona 10 days prior, and suffered a severe heart attack from which she did not recover. On Friday morning she had just finished preparing Shabbat, when she felt sudden chest pains, collapsed, and for several hours was fighting for her life to no avail. Yiscah had an internal beauty that radiated outwards. She was modest, diligence, generous, kindhearted, and had love for all people . Her whole life was devoted to giving to her family and to everyone else around her. At home, she raised her children with love and never-ending dedication, and imparted to them values of respect and derech eretz. Some of her children are still small, and her husband and the children are struggling to bear the tragedy that has befallen them, and to continue their lives without a devoted and loving wife and mother. In her profession, Yiscah was a practitioner of Chinese medicine and worked in her private clinic, and in the Chinese medicine program at Shaare Zedek. There she worked with wounded veterans, oncology patients and birthing mothers, and accompanied her patients during the most difficult periods of their lives. Her patients testify to her loving care, always given with joy and a smile. It is difficult to put into words the magnitude of this tragedy for her husband and children, who have been left without emotional, physical, and economic support. Eight children who's attentive mother provided for them, hugged them, and showered them with love, will now have to pave their own ways, and continue their lives without her. We do not have the ability bring Yiscah back to them, but we can ease their suffering by providing support to the family, so at least they will be financially taken care of. This is an opportunity for us- Yiscah's friends, family and for anyone she touched, to express our love for her by giving to her family. The money will be devoted to the needs of the family which are not subsidized by the state, including their living expenses for the coming months after Yiscah's passing, subsidizing house help for running the large household, providing for the children's future education, providing supportive therapeutic treatment for the eight children, as well as creating a fund for family events including the children's future bar and bat mitzvahs and weddings. ***All of the money will be deposited into a trust fund devoted to the family's needs, and will be under oversite to ensure the money is put towards the fund's specific purposes.*** The money will be devoted to the needs of the family which are not subsidized by the state, including their living expenses for the upcoming two months after Yiscah's passing, subsidizing house help to contribute to running the large household, providing for the children's future education, providing supportive therapeutic treatment for the eight children, as well as creating a fund for family events including the children's future bar and bat mitzvahs and weddings. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for taking part. The Ish Tzadik Haya Foundation is a vital partner in the execution of this project.
