'Shavuot of Longing'
As Shavuot approaches, we present 'Shavuot of Longing'—a cookbook designed to connect us through heart and stomach to our dearest.
Home is food, and food is comfort. It's been over half a year without the comfort of our loved ones. As we count the days for their return, Shavuot reminds us to keep the hostages at the forefront of our minds and efforts.
This cookbook features 75 recipes across 180 pages, showcasing their most cherished dishes—from morning pastries to warming winter soups, to desserts that sweeten their hearts.
As a symbol of optimism, Louis Herr, a devoted pizza lover who was kidnapped and returned after 129 days in captivity, dedicates a hopeful recipe and wish for everyone's safe return.
We invite you to prepare a recipe from the book, place it on your table, share on social media, and continue raising awareness for our 120 brothers and sisters who need to come home and celebrate the next holiday with us.
The book was created with love and collaboration from Be'eri Print in Kibbutz Be'eri, a community deeply affected by recent events. It is available in both print and digital formats.
