Every week, Hamitbach – Cooking for Soldiers opens its doors and its heart to volunteers from around the world. Dozens of people – young and old, families and individuals – join us in Jerusalem to give of themselves for the soldiers of the IDF and their families. Together, on weekends, we prepare hundreds of hot and inspiring meals. On Jewish holidays, the giving grows even greater: thousands of meals for Shabbat and the festivals, delivered straight to soldiers on bases, into their homes, and to families waiting for their loved ones.
