First Sergeant Sivan Simcha Asraf z”l fell in battle on October 7, 2023, while serving at the Nahal Oz outpost. Even in her final moments, she cared for others, just as she always did in life. Now, it is our duty to fulfill her legacy – to create a place of learning, hope, and a better future for the youth of Ashkelon and Israel. 📚 Why the Library? One of Sivan’s favorite places was her school library at Makif Ironi D in Ashkelon – a place of peace, inspiration, and dreams. Today, the library is outdated, neglected, and unsuitable for modern learning.
