Friends of Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center supports the rehabilitation of civilians and soldiers by raising funds for essential equipment and services that promote optimal recovery. The Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center Since its establishment in 1959, the Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Canter has been on the forefront of rehabilitation medicine in Israel and is recognized as a global leader in this field. The center provides comprehensive, ongoing rehabilitation services to thousands of patients each year – including children, adolescents, and adults, both civilians and IDF soldiers – suffering from complex injuries such as head and spinal trauma, limb amputations, brain injuries; chronic neurological disorders, and injuries related to combat or traffic accidents. Additionally, the Center provides rehabilitation support for oncology patients undergoing active cancer treatments.
