BeMeitavi - The Ruth Vrobel Foundation has been operating since 2013, creating supportive and meaningful spaces for individuals coping with chronic illness and ongoing health challenges. The organization was founded by the Schneider and Vrobel families in memory of Ruth Vrobel – an extraordinary woman who devoted her life to others, even while battling cancer herself. Ruth's spirit of compassion and giving continues to guide us - through warm human connection, professional support, and the creation of experiences filled with meaning and personal growth, even in the face of life’s most difficult moments. Our Vision: To create a reality in which every person facing health challenges receives a supportive, holistic system – addressing body, mind, social needs, and community – that brings meaning, hope, and a full experience of life. Our Core Initiatives: • HIBUK (Hug) – Connecting Health & Community Our flagship program: individualized support for patients in the community and medical centers, led by students from the health and therapy professions. These visits offer conversation, emotional support, rights navigation, and relief from loneliness – grounded in deep human connection. • “Stronger Together” Center: A holistic center for cancer patients and survivors, offering emotional care, support groups, body-mind practices, movement, creative expression, and lectures – all fostering resilience and a sense of belonging. • KAN (here) – Present Integrative Force: A professional, integrative therapeutic response for national emergencies, delivered by certified integrative and complementary medicine practitioners – providing immediate, body-mind-based support when it’s needed most.
