The Yuri Shtern Holistic Center

The Yuri Stern Holistic Center provides approximately 13,000 complementary medicine treatments to cancer patients each year. The treatments are provided by a team of 170 professional volunteers in the fields of touch therapy, psychotherapy, and Chinese medicine at the center's community clinics in Jerusalem and Herzliya and at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Many medical studies have shown that complementary medicine treatments can improve the daily functioning and quality of life of cancer patients. The combination of conventional medicine and complementary medicine allows for the best possible physical and emotional coping with the disease. The cost of one hour of treatment at the Yuri Stern Assistance Center is 120 NIS. Your donation will help us reach more cancer patients and provide more treatments throughout the year. The center was founded in 2007 in memory of Knesset Member Dr. Yuri Stern, who died of cancer. It was founded by his widow, Lena Stern, and their family.
