Restart Global (Restart), is a non-profit organization helping wounded soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to Restart their lives after injury. RESTART was founded by wounded Israel Defense Force (IDF) soldiers to support their peers, wounded IDF veterans whose lives have changed instantly. In collaboration with Israel's Start-up Nation technology companies, RESTART creates individualized technology-led solutions for the unique needs of wounded IDF heroes. These solutions enable the wounded to regain the ability to perform activities that their injuries have prevented, such as standing while showering, transitioning from sitting to standing independently, returning to playing musical instruments, surfing, painting, and more. Restoring their passions and independence gives them a sense of purpose and motivation to Restart their lives. Since October 7th, thousands of IDF soldiers have been injured, psychologically and physically. We are doing everything possible to reach as many wounded soldiers as we can, helping them reclaim their lives. As wounded IDF soldiers ourselves, we know first-hand that proper mentorship and support enable our heroes to thrive personally and professionally, enabling our heroes to get back to a fulfilled life with their work, families, and communities.
