Yad Ezer Lechaver was founded in 1995 in Haifa. In 2001 Yad Ezer Lechaver became official after being registered in the Registrar of Associations
It was targeted to assist needy people and Holocaust survivors. Today The association operates a supporting congregation in which live more than 120 Holocaus survivors. They live in nice appartments adjusted to their , 3 meals a day, social activities and medical assistance.
In addition Yad Ezer LEchaver distributes thousands of food parcels for needy Holocaust survivors and gives food in a soup kitchen founded 30 years ago.
Yad Ezer Lechaver also operates the home for children and youngsters at risk.
