The Association for the Israels Soldiers

The Association for Israeli Soldiers (AFIS) is a registered non-profit association whose aim is raising funds for IDF soldiers. In 2015, more than 70 years after the Soldier's Association was founded and 35 years for the establishment of the LIBI Foundation, the two associations united into one strong, goal-oriented organization that works 100% for IDF soldiers. All the organization's expenses related to the fundraising and the implementation of the donations are funded and financed by the Ministry of Defense and not by the donations received. Thus, resulting in the fact that 100% of all donations are directed towards soldier needs. The chairman of the foundation is General (Res.) Yoram Yair (“ Ya-Ya”), who performs his role voluntarily. The CEO of the AFIS fund is Colonel (res.) Sherry Carmel.
