About the charity:
Mandalat Halev is a community charity, supportive of cancer patients and their families.
The Mandalat Halev House was opened with great excitement in August 2021 following 20 years of activities, the dream came true and we have a comfortable welcoming house embracing all that enter it. The house offers a variety of activities, events and meetings which strengthen the cancer patients, recovering patients, their families and volunteers who give whole heartedly.
We are acting as a community circle supportive of a unique pattern, with the purpose of helping, in diverse ways, cancer patients, recovering patients, families which lost their loved ones.
Our centre is located in Modiin-Macabim-Reut. The support offered is personal and familial. We perceive the family as one unit both in physical and spiritual treatment. Enrichment and empowerment is given for free by volunteers from within the community.
The activities of the charity
The activities of the community are diverse and include: classes, treatments, work-shops, meetings, support groups and more.
Treatments are supplied by professional volunteers in: reflexology, shiatzu, acupuncture and more; likewise psychological and spiritual support.
Fitness activities such as: Feldenkrais, yoga, Pilates, Qigong, fitness exercises, walking groups, dance, painting, sculpting and more.
