Ein Bustan is a non profit Arab-Jewish association for social change that operates two bilingual kindergartens, in the spirit of Waldorf education. The association was founded in 2005 by Jewish and Arab parents from neighboring communities in the Lower Galilee. And it gives the children from the different communities, an opportunity to get to know, to respect and to come into contact with the other, on a daily basis, from a young age. Ein Bustan’s social vision is one in which Arabs and Jews live together in true acquaintance. Which enables a life of equality, peace and mutual understanding. The kindergarten and nursery of Ein Bustan are located in the Bedouin village of Hilf in the municipality of Bosmat Tivon and are of the oldest bilingual Waldorf kindergartens in Israel. The Waldorf education is a form of education that helps create a common denominator through music, arts and above all, nature. 43 girls and boys from Kiryat Tivon, Basmat Tivon and other villages in the area come to our kindergartens on a daily basis. Ein Bustan also carries out joint social and cultural activities for the residents of the neighboring communities. Shared community celebrations of holiday festivities, cultural performances, women's gettogethers, classes on different subjects , Arabic language studies and much more.
