For over 25 years, Crossroads has been providing lifesaving prevention and intervention programs for Anglo teens and young adults in Israel, ages 14-22, helping them to reach their potential and thrive.
Each year Crossroads offers crucial therapeutic support services to over 1,000 teens and young adults who 'fall between the cracks of the traditional social welfare system in Israel.
Our participants come from all walks of Israeli life and include lone soldiers, National service volunteers, Gap year students, and recent Olim.
Daily teens and young adults call our crisis hotline, come to our clinic, meet with our job counselors, study for their high school diploma, engage in creative arts in our Drop-in Center and engage with Crossroads online.
Whether suffering from depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts; or coming from a neglectful and abusive relationship; or have recently gone through a traumatic experience; Crossroads offers a safe space to mitigate engagement in risky, harmful behaviors and enable teens and young adults to achieve healthier functioning and enhanced emotional well-being.
Through proactive outreach on the streets and working with partners in the community, vulnerable teens and young adults in desperate need of therapeutic and crisis support initiate contact with or are identified by Crossroads staff.
