Melach HaAretz - Pre-military Preparatory Academy

To educate the pre-military academy participants to loyalty to the State of Israel and identification with it as a Jewish, Zionist, and democratic state, as defined in the Declaration of Independence and the Basic Laws of the State of Israel, and to foster love of the people and the land. To advance underprivileged sectors in Israeli society, including new immigrants from the Ethiopian community and from the former Soviet Union. To educate the academy participants to enlist in full, high-quality, and meaningful military service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in volunteer and combat units, in command and officer tracks, in accordance with their abilities and skills and with the needs of the IDF. To establish and operate pre-military educational frameworks, as well as programs for discharged IDF soldiers, youth, and young adults from diverse backgrounds within Israeli society. To prepare the academy participants, physically and spiritually, for integration into the IDF as stated above. To strengthen and enrich the spiritual world of the academy participants, and to increase their self-confidence and faith in their chosen path. To cultivate young leadership, environmental responsibility, and social involvement and impact among the academy participants and its graduates during their military service and thereafter.
