Shanti house

Beit HaShanti is a home for at-risk youth and young adults facing life-threatening situations. It was founded in 1984 by Marioma Klein.

At Beit HaShanti, we believe that every young person deserves a genuine opportunity to start over. The organization provides both emergency intervention and long-term support, including a safe place to live, therapeutic care, education, guidance, emotional support, and practical tools for successful integration into society.

The young people who come to Beit HaShanti face a wide range of challenges, including violence, neglect, sexual abuse, disengagement from educational and social frameworks, homelessness, and family crises. Some are referred by social services, courts, and treatment professionals, while others arrive independently in search of a safe and supportive environment.

Today, Beit HaShanti operates three homes across Israel—in Tel Aviv, the Desert, and Jerusalem—and supports thousands of young people each year through residential programs, therapeutic services, education, employment support, independent living preparation, and ongoing guidance even after they leave the homes.
