The “Otzma for a Soldier” project works all year round for Israeli soldiers across the country. Our flagship project is to provide fancy tefillin to soldiers who need them – there are soldiers whose tefillin have been disqualified or lost during service in the field, we are here to give them the spiritual weapon – the confidence to stand guard. In addition, “Otzma for a Soldier” organizes and produces birthday parties for lone soldiers, arriving with a cake, a gift, refreshments and, above all, bringing a lot of joy and fun to our soldiers. Additional projects include distributing holiday vouchers to lone soldiers and a coffee shop with all the accompanying accessories to warm them up on guard duty. Even on holidays, we come to outposts and bases to make the soldiers happy and bring them the light of the holiday to their place of service. Our goal is to add joy and light to the faces of the soldiers, to give them a feeling of a warm home everywhere and to show that the people of Israel are behind them, supporting and thanking them for their great sacrifice.
