Ventata is an Israeli nonprofit organization that has been operating for more than five years with a mission to heal communities through nature. The organization leads hundreds of projects across the country and specializes in creating and restoring green spaces, community forests, therapeutic gardens, and urban nature infrastructures that support emotional wellbeing, community resilience, and a healthier ecological environment.
The organization works from a holistic approach that sees a direct connection between healing a person and healing the land and community around them. After October 7, Ventata became a leading force in rehabilitating communities in the south and north, with large scale projects in Beeri, Kfar Aza, Nir Oz, Shuva, Sitria, Hazrim, and more. With the help of thousands of volunteers, youth groups, corporate partners, and IDF soldiers, hundreds of home gardens have already been built for evacuees, alongside hundreds of nature based healing spaces and young tree nurseries growing tens of thousands of Israeli heritage seedlings.
Ventata has received prestigious awards for its innovation and its social and environmental impact. In collaboration with municipalities, rehabilitation institutions, and government ministries, it develops groundbreaking models that connect people to the land and communities to a sustainable future. The organization also leads educational programs, community volunteer days, strategic partnerships with leading companies, and national initiatives focused on restoring greenery across Israel.
In every project, large or small, Ventata places the person at the center – their story and the power of nature to create healing, meaning, and renewal.
Its vision is simple and clear: to grow life – in the soil, in the heart, and across Israeli society.
