The Hapardes Association is an association of residents of the Shapira and Kiryat Shalom neighborhoods in South Tel Aviv, which is an incubator that nurtures and strengthens the abilities of the residents of the neighborhoods to initiate, create and promote change for the sake of the community in which they live by strengthening the community's base of values, providing tools for community action and encouraging the promotion of partnerships. Background - About 25,000 residents live in the Shapira and Kiryat Shalom neighborhoods, neighborhoods with the richest cultural diversity in Israel. Side by side, live Jews and non-Jews, veterans of the neighborhood, among them the Bukhara and Peres communities, alongside young, regenerating communities, among them ultra-Orthodox, traditional and secular, Israelis and migrant workers, who strive to live in good neighborliness despite the differences between them. In the last decade, the trends are changing due to the acceleration of urban renewal, the cost of living and immigration from the African community, the composition of the residents is changing, tension and polarization are created, and the radicalization of discourse, which is also expressed in violence on social networks around different beliefs and worldviews as a reflection of what is happening in Israeli society, between new populations and the old populations and social and economic gaps which expand and affect the lives of all residents in significantly different layers. Out of a sense of responsibility for the place and the community and the recognition of the new challenges and the potential hidden in the identity and cultural diversity in the neighborhoods around shared life and out of a need we identified, we opened the 'Diverse' program - dialogue meetings and acquaintances between residents from a variety of cultures and identities, we formed a coalition of diverse partnerships in the community and together we promote joint initiatives such as receipts Shabbat and dialogue meetings with the aim of creating meetings between a variety of residents around spiritual and cultural events, to lower walls and partitions between us and create an inclusive space that sees community diversity as an advantage. With your contribution, you will be a partner in the change and impact we will create together in the community! Yes, of course I want to participate in this donation
