The Sheatufim Organization was established in 2006 by philanthropists and social entrepreneurs from Israel, Europe and the United States out of a shared vision of creating a civic, pluralistic and enterprising society, and a discourse that connects social organizations, businesses, government ministries and philanthropists in Israel. In recent years, the organization has been promoting the Collective Impact approach, and implementing it in practice as a model for solving complex social problems, first in the field of scientific excellence in education, and starting in 2020 also in the struggle against gender-based domestic violence and against the loneliness of the elderly in the community. Sheatufim is currently the Backbone Organization of three Collective Impact initiatives that work on these issues, in addition to developing knowledge and tools for multi-sectoral collaborative action, and disseminating this knowledge through the Studio for Collaborative Social Processes that offers a variety of training, workshops, and learning programs for executives from the business, social and public sectors.
