Residents Helping Residents

"Residents Helping Residents" is a volunteer-based organization in the central region of Israel, aimed at collecting dry and packaged food donations for families in need who lack food security. Every week, we make food baskets catered to each family's needs based on forms that each family filled in beforehand and distribute them. Our beneficiaries include the elderly, Holocaust survivors, lone soldiers, parents of large or single-parent families, including people who were displaced as a result of the war. Additionally, we make an effort to provide specific equipment donations, such as clothing and supplies for children, to those who cannot afford them, as well as clothing and equipment for struggling families. IMPORTANT NOTE: The activity of "Residents Helping Residents" is entirely volunteer-based and there are no salaried employees in the non-profit. The minimal operating expenses that do exists are covered by a designated donor, so that100% of the donations are used for the purchase of food products.
