In light of the war that was imposed on us on October 7, 2023, we are raising resources for the purchase of various equipment and means for the IDF soldiers and especially for the soldiers of the 401st Armored Brigade who are now fighting inside the Gaza Strip. The funds that will be donated are intended to buy equipment and accessories that are currently in short supply, such as: tactical helmets, ceramic vests , medical equipment for paramedics, dust goggles, shooting goggles for armorers, technical equipment for technical teams that repair the tanks deep in the terrain and additional combat equipment.
We are the Harshushan family from Alcana, a bereaved family. Our son, Lieutenant Yoav Harshushan, was killed in an operation in Lebanon against Hezbollah terrorists.
The association "In the Ways of Yoav - Challenges" was established in memory of our son, Lieutenant Yoav Harshushan, a paratrooper officer, who fell in battle against Hezbollah terrorists in 1994 in southern Lebanon. The association operates in a number of projects in areas mainly centered around values education and motivation for meaningful service in the army and the country.
Today, our youngest son, Lt. Col. Tzafir Shihia, currently serves as a team commander in the IDF Command and Staff Course, and a second lieutenant assisting the commander of the 401st Brigade in fighting in Gaza.
