ECHAD

"Echad" is a nonprofit organization that operates with the goal of creating connection and unity among the people of Israel and strengthening individuals and communities in Israel and the diaspora in the areas of identity, education, empowerment, and welfare. ECHAD focuses on connection programs for women from diverse backgrounds, engaging in deep and meaningful content, community initiatives, identity reinforcement, and creating relationships and initiatives to empower women and their spheres of influence in various families and communities. One flagship program is "OLAH" - a community of Jewish women from Europe and beyond, representing 30 countries. Within this program, annual conferences are held in European countries for women in influential positions from a wide range of communities. During these conferences, women are exposed to deep and inspiring content and engage in shared learning experiences from diverse communities. There is also exposure to community initiatives aimed at empowering women and their communities, fostering meaningful connections and bridges. The teams of "Echad" operate in emergency situations to provide humanitarian assistance and welfare according to emerging needs. The association has been actively involved in the war in Ukraine, participating in the rescue, care, and assistance of refugees. During the "Iron Blades" war in Israel, "Echad" assists in facilitating aid and connection between donors and needs. The association supports emergency teams, strengthens displaced communities, cares for orphans, and engages in additional activities that arise on the ground. Meanwhile, during the war, "Echad" works towards one of the most crucial needs – unity among the people of Israel. "Echad" facilitates meetings between leading women from different and diverse communities in the country to connect and collaborate for the unity of our nation.
