Chaim V’Chessed is a nonprofit organization in Israel that helps English-speaking residents and visitors navigate Israeli bureaucracy and crises.
It was founded in 2015 and has grown into a 24/6 resource center for English speakers. The organization assists with a wide range of challenges, including:
Medical support – guiding patients and families through Israel’s healthcare system, hospitals, and insurance.
Government offices – helping with the Misrad HaPnim (Interior Ministry), Bituach Leumi, foreign embassies and more.
Special education – advising parents of children with disabilities on rights, services, and schooling.
Emergency support – offering immediate guidance in cases such as arrests, deaths, or other crises.
Daily life challenges – helping with utilities, municipal issues, and other bureaucracy.
Chaim V’Chessed is unique because it provides a single address for English speakers who otherwise would have to struggle with Hebrew forms, officials, and complicated systems.
