The Eden Center

The Eden Center (www.theEdenCenter.com) works to strengthen Jewish women and family life and promote spiritual, emotional and physical health, intimacy education and well-being, using the mikveh a primary vehicle to attain our goals. We work to infuse mikveh with relevance to the lives and challenges of couples today, allowing mikveh immersion to be a positive and sensitive experience for every woman. Our educational goals are reached through community programming, professional training, and the creation of printed resources that increase knowledge about intimacy and women's health, and raise awareness to abuse and crisis interventions. Eden provides support and resources for lifecycle and crisis moments for Jewish women and families across the lifecycle. Since our founding, The Eden Center has paved the way for transforming the public institution of mikvah -- utilized by over of 1 million women annually in Israel -- into a space that supports women’s physical, sexual, and mental health, connects them to Jewish communal resources, supports abuse prevention and fosters an attitude of acceptance for the plethora of women’s needs and levels of observance. Our expertise and online and in-person programs are increasingly sought by communities globally. To date, our programs have reached over 18,000 women directly and another 92,000 indirectly, including participants from all over the world -- Argentina, Australia, Europe, North America, South Africa, England and Israel.
