Matnat Chaim is an Israeli non-profit which recruits and supports healthy volunteers who are willing to donate a kidney to patients who are waiting for a transplant. Our kidney donors do not receive compensation for their donation, most do not know their recipients previously, and they are motivated solely by the desire to help others and save lives.
Matnat Chaim has facilitated over 1000 kidney transplants and the number is constantly rising!
Our vision is to eliminate the waiting list for kidney transplants in Israel and to insure that no Israeli will have to wait more than a short time to receive a new kidney. We want to save the lives of the 1200 patients waiting for a transplant, and turn Israel into the first Western country without a waiting list for kidney transplants. We're well on our way to our goal and with your help - we will achieve it!
