The Yeshiva of Shavei Shomron is located in Samaria and lies to the north-west of the city of Shechem, at the foot of Mount Ebal.
In the Yeshiva, dozens of students both married and single diligently study Torah day and night.
The Yeshiva offers three programs: the Hesder program, a combination of Torah learning and army service, the Yeshiva Gevohah program, and a rabbinical program for the students who want to become ordained rabbies.
There is also a book publishing institute that currently focuses on the publication of books and booklets on shitat hasimanim, a unique method that is based on the saying of the Amora Rabbi Chisda in Tractate Eruvin 54b: “The only way to acquire Torah is with signs [i.e. acronyms].” [The acronym of this daf (54b) is Nun-Daleth: Nizkor Dapim (memorize dapim)].
With G-d’s help, more than twenty married students have bought houses in Shavei Shomron and have significantly strengthened the local community.
Our graduates are active in all aspects of Jewish life in Israel and around the world, and threw this do a tremendous Kiddush Hashem.
