For almost two decades, Beit Tefilah Israeli (BTI) has been a leading power in the Israeli Judaism movement. We create and maintain powerful spaces that address the Israeli society’s need for experiential, public Judaism, open for all. Starting as a grassroots community in 2004, BTI has grown into a creative, innovative and inclusive organization that offers meaningful Jewish ritual, study, social activism and community life to the general Israeli public. Our mission is to create, develop and sustain a creative, indigenous Israeli Judaism that is meaningful and relevant to Israel’s 21st century reality, drawing from the Jewish tradition and committed to democracy, equality, justice, and mutual responsibility. Reaching over 40,000 individuals on an annual basis, BTI strives to positively impact the Israeli society and the future of Judaism.
