Beit Micha

Beit Micha is the largest Non-Profit Organization in Israel that treats hearing impaired infants and children with from the age of birth to first grade, for nearly 70 years. Micha's care center provides one-stop-shop for the child and his family by providing all the professionals involved in the process of rehabilitation and care of the toddler with hearing impairments, including communication therapists, audiology, Physiotherapists, occupational therapists and educational-therapeutic staff and special education teachers, assistants and art therapy. The quality goal is adapted to all segments of the population: Jews, Arabs, religious and secular. As of today, the association treats over 700 children and their families every year. The association's vision is to give every deaf and hard of hearing child the tools to acquire communication, language, development and equal opportunities for full organizational integration. About 88% of the association's graduates integrate into the first grades of the regular education system and achieve impressive achievements.
