The Summit Institute Foster Care for Children at Risk and Psychosocial Rehabilitation
The Summit Institute association was established in 1973. Since then, Summit provides treatment and rehabilitation to mentally challenged people with the help of the various rehabilitation units that exist at the institute.
The Summit Institute Association is a pioneer in the rehabilitation and treatment of mentally challenged people within the community.
Since 2003, the Summit Institute Association has been operating foster care services for families and foster children in the Jerusalem and South districts. Summit is responsible for and accompanies about 1400 children who are in about 900 foster families.
The association is headed by a management committee whose members work voluntarily
