The association has a vision to preserve the collective memory of the Holocaust through first-person personal stories. As Holocaust survivors become fewer, it is increasingly important to preserve their voices and stories. The association trains individuals and youth, through a lengthy and professional process to become Remembrance Ambassadors in First Person, so they continue to tell the stories of the Holocaust heroes.
The Ambassadors are mainly, but not exclusively, second and third generation Holocaust survivors. The association's Remembrance Ambassadors recount the stories of Holocaust survivors and Righteous Among the Nations in first person.
This activity is conducted throughout the year, across the country, and for all types of audiences, including youth, soldiers, and adults.
