Reclaiming Resilience

Civic resilience is what we do. We work on both the local, regional and national levels, operating 1,000 centers in 151 towns and villages. Our 30,000 employees and thousands of volunteers are familiar and trusted professionals to Israelis nationwide. Over the past fifty years we have provided vital support to numerous communities, and have often acted as Israel’s de facto communal first responders, swiftly and effectively mobilizing resources and coordinating efforts across different sectors and geographical regions. On October 7 we sprang into action, mobilizing thousands of employees and volunteers, aiding communities across Israel, mobilizing our teams and volunteers to support areas in crisis. This extensive reach was augmented by our numerous partnerships with various stakeholders: government offices, local municipalities, the private sector, and philanthropies both in Israel and throughout the Jewish world. As one of Israel’s leading civic organizations, we have a broad presence and robust network of partnerships in Israel and in the Jewish world. We will continue to mobilize the necessary resources to meet the needs of our communities nationwide. Physical and social infrastructure are not rebuilt in a day. We already implement numerous social programs throughout Israel but must continue to consciously and carefully address Israel’s most complex social challenge ever – and leave no one behind. The enormity of the task at hand necessitates substantial resources. We will lead this critical initiative but need your help to rebuild the lives of the hundreds of thousands of Israelis affected by this catastrophe. We cannot do it without you!
