Kulna Morocco together

Restoring the ruins of Marrakech in the community
Donors: 140
Last Saturday, Morocco was hit by an earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale. While chanting Shabbat poems, a strong tremor shakes the house and little by little it becomes clear that this is not a passing thing but a real earthquake. Buildings around are collapsing, people are trying to save themselves with a strong prayer to survive the difficult moments - and we are among them. An earthquake shakes the house and the heart.
The next morning the picture begins to clear, the sunlight illuminates the ruins and reveals the consequences. The destruction in the streets, the pain of the damaged villages, the injured, the missing and the people who lost their lives. Of course, the earthquake also hit the Jewish community, and some people lost their homes. And also the synagogues and the heritage sites that we work hard to preserve - were seriously damaged.
For several years now, our activities here have been inseparably connected to the local community. Our heritage sites are rooted in the Moroccan community and our work is integrated into the fabric of the community here and we are here with the aim of connecting and multiplying goodness and unity.
Today, following all this upheaval, we are embarking on a fundraising campaign whose goal is to succeed in raising money that will be dedicated to the restoration of the synagogue and the cemetery that were damaged in the earthquake, the restoration of the Jewish angel and providing help to the locals in Marrakesh.
We are working together here - the entire team from Morocco and our dear team of volunteers, with the aim of giving everything possible to help the people, and also to help save the Jewish past that is here, which will not be erased by the ruins of the earthquake.
Come and help us in this emergency mission!
And in a few words about our daily routine...
