The Shemesh association was established in May 2015 in memory of the late Ohad Shemesh who fell in the battle in Khan Yunis during the "Tzuk Eitan" war on July 21, 2014. The association works to perpetuate Ohad's way and help children and youth from disadvantaged groups while fulfilling their potential.
Every year in January (close to Ohad's birthday) we hold an annual volunteering day. On that day, with the help of our dedicated volunteers, we work to improve the living conditions, basic needs and the environment of the boys and girls from disadvantaged groups
