Effective Altruism Israel helps Israelis maximize their social impact. There are many ways to help others - but only some have an outsized impact and have strong evidence supporting their effectiveness. We do research to help identify the most impactful ways to help other, and help Israelis who want to make a difference use their resources in a way that helps others the most. We're a local branch of the global effective altruism movement. In practice, we run programs and provide tools according to the major resources people can use to help others: their time, money and knowledge. We offer workshops and advice on planning and implementing a high-impact career; we're running the "Maximum Impact" program to research and promote the top opportunities for giving; and we teach tools for maximizing social impact via courses, workshops, lectures and online content.
