The war puts Israel's food security in danger and without emergency action, there is an actual threat to Israel’s agriculture. Saving Israel's agriculture and food is a national mission! The war is planned to continue in the following months. January until May is the peak of citrus harvest season. The citrus fruits exported worldwide have been a symbol of national pride since the founding of Israel! The Israeli citrus fruit is grown on 105,000 acres. With over 120,000 tons exported each year, unharvested fruit puts the Israeli agriculture and the economy. In danger We cannot let our food security be in the hands of foreign countries.
