The Rehabilitation process must start now!

Rehabilitation of the war wounded and treatment of their terrible trauma - must start now! "Medical Care" integrative rehabilitation hospital, operated by IMFA association - recruits to establish a rehabilitation array for physically and mentally injured people. At this very moment, thousands of war wounded, soldiers and civilians who have experienced the worst of it all, are lying in the hospitals. The rehabilitation phase - both physical and mental, is the one that will determine whether the injured will be able to return to their lives and overcome the traumas. As of today, there are 4,500 wounded in Israel and only 900 rehabilitation beds! The rehabilitation array in Israel is in short supply. We at Medical Care are preparing to establish a rehabilitation array, with the approval of the Ministry of Health, which will include 3 dedicated wards for the wounded of terrorism. This way we can increase the state's rehabilitation capacity by 94 beds and treat 700 victims a year. Trauma victims need treatment ASAP - we don't have time to spear. The sooner the rehabilitation process begins and the closer to the time of injury, the greater the chance of a full recovery, of the body and the soul. And we all want their success. Every day, we receive hundreds of inquiries at the "Medical Care" hospital, asking to transfer injured people to us for rehabilitation treatment, following the initial treatment they have been given, and we are doing everything to expand the scope of physical and mental rehabilitation. At the same time, we are preparing to open an anxiety and trauma support center in cooperation with the Coalition for Trauma and National Insurance and are recruiting dozens of therapists who will be mobilized to treat war injured. We have started by taking in families who were evacuated from Sderot and took care of them mentally, and today we provide mental assistance to 320 victims who are staying in hotels in Bat Yam. In order for us to enable immediate rehabilitation for the injured, we need you for raising the amount necessary to operate an integrated rehabilitation array, to support, strengthen and care for the combat wounded, physically and mentally.
