Emergency Relief - Rebuilding the South

Israel is under attack. While our enemies try to destroy us, we will prevail and win this war. While they fight with darkness we will add light.  Now is the time to support the most injured communities from the south.  Their homes are burned, they fled without anything in hand. They are mourning family members massacred by terrorists.  They are still praying for the release of their family members who are held hostage by the torrorists.  Entire communities have fled, and arrived in our northern town for shelter.  The community of Sderot is suffering coninued power outages, and we must ensure that elderly and inferm who rely on oxygen have generators. What are we doing: Equipping a refugee community with emergency supplies (clothes, linens, electronics) Providing generators for sderot those relying on oxygen machines to survive the coninued power outages. Providing first aid relief for those whose homes have been burnt to the ground. How we are working:  We in Migdal Haemek put together an emergency relief team comprised of community members who moved from the South just this summer (and know each case personally), as well as IDF officers, logistics specialists, a Rav, a Dr., Engineers and MADA and Hatzala volunteers who are well versed in emergency procedures.  We respond quickly to each emergency request, investigating directly first hand, and providing the relief at cost from suppliers in the South. Our community of volunteers, including over 40 active youth movement members mobilizes quickly to deliver the aid in the north.  NOW is the time to stand together.  Together, a united AM ISRAEL , we will show that light dispells the darkness.  We will rebuild the south, and heal broken hearts who need it most.
