Since 2014, "Eran Angels" organization has been serving the community, initially by assisting needy families and Holocaust survivors in daily life, supporting all Israeli citizens during national crises, and later extending its efforts to IDF soldiers.
Since the outbreak of the "Iron Swords" war on October 7th, the organization has demonstrated unprecedented mobilization by setting up a command center at Expo Tel Aviv, which quickly became the largest and central command center in the country, providing assistance in various areas: food, hygiene products, medical and military equipment for IDF soldiers and their families, and for needy families.
"Eran Angels" continues to dedicate all its resources to making a significant change in the lives of those in need, with a deep commitment to ongoing social and community work, alongside its regular activities.
The organization has set ambitious goals and is advancing additional projects. Some of its key activities include:
• Hospital Visits: A weekly delegation visits wounded soldiers at Tel Hashomer Hospital and organizes several events for them.
• "Shoulder to the Envelope": A social project aimed at supporting the farmers of the Gaza envelope and providing immediate economic income to local farmers who were affected by the security situation in the area, thereby contributing to their economic resilience.
• Free Stores: This project was established to assist the residents of the Gaza envelope who were evacuated from their homes without belongings due to the security situation, allowing for a dignified shopping experience while maintaining a sense of control and routine in their difficult circumstances.
• "Father in Gaza": This project aims to strengthen the bond between children and their fathers who have been away from home for an extended period due to military activity in Gaza. As part of the project, personal letters and toys were sent to the children, along with flowers to the soldiers' wives, in order to alleviate, even slightly, the daily hardship the families are enduring.
The central project is the "The Day After" project. This initiative aims to establish a unique home for soldiers returning from battle, to create a safe and comfortable environment that will allow them to recover from the difficult experiences they faced on the battlefield. The home will provide soldiers with a place where they can recuperate, strengthen themselves, and rebuild their lives after the war.
"HABAIT" – A house that will offer a social, therapeutic, and professional support system for soldiers, assistance in finding jobs, and legal advice. The soldiers will receive professional support from various experts, such as psychologists, lawyers, career counselors, and more. These experts will help them rebuild their lives, renew their roles in society, and provide tools to cope with daily challenges.
The main goal of "HABAIT" is to create a local community that will enable soldiers to reintegrate and restore their personal and professional identities in a meaningful and moving way, helping them return to life in the "day after."
