Operation Swords of Iron 2023

Who are we? • We are a community in Ra’anana (a city in central Israel), with >900 volunteers from Ra’anana and nearby communities. • We source and facilitate the delivery of goods to soldiers, supporting families who have loved ones currently serving. • We help ensure funerals and shiva houses are attended to and have visitors What have we done (in the first 10 days)? • Sourced goods from England, Netherlands, South Africa, Brazil, USA and Switzerland. • Supplied packages to soldiers: 8,000+ headlamps and flashlights, 2,000+ water bags (shluckerim), 2,000+ sleeping bags, 5,000 first-aid kits, 10,000+ thermals, shirts, tzizit, undergarments and much more. • Facilitated ongoing deliveries to individual units (10,000+ soldiers already reached!). Also have an open distribution center for soldiers to get stocked up with supplies. • Helping soldiers keep in touch with their loved ones, supplying 5,000+ portable charges • Home cooked meals to 220+ bases (15,000+ meals) Where will your money go? • Continue to fill requests for soldiers, as needed. Direct contact with soldiers and their units to enable daily deliveries too wherever we can get to. • Your money goes directly to pay for food, supplies, van rental, packing boxes and petrol.
