Since its establishment, Kashouvot has succeeded in achieving  a meaningful part of our vision: to be a pioneer and leader in the development and integration of Spiritual Care in Israel. Every day, our staff of chaplains and our students are reminded how much power the human spirit has for growth and healing during times of adversity. We welcome your partnership with our deep gratitude. Spiritual Care has the potential to enrich Israeli society by building bridges between different faiths, addressing the religious divide, and helping Israelis discover relevance and meaning in their own heritage, and helping people to cultivate a personal language of spirituality throughout their lives.  Thirteen years ago, when we founded Kashouvot, the notion of spiritual care was completely alien in Israel. Today, Kashouvot is the largest provider of spiritual care training in Israel, pioneering in-service training for staff and implementing spiritual care in hospitals all around the country. With your support, the impact and relevance of spiritual care will continue and become and become an unquestioned feature of medical care in Israel.  The awful attack on October 7 and the war changed all of Israeli reality. Entire communities are presently dealing with a terrible and intense sense of loss.  People are trying to cope with the losses of life, homes, community and feelings of loss of security and safety. Kashouvot will continue to fulfill its mission: to work for making Spiritual Care available. In these days, with even greater intensity, Kashouvot - the Center for Spiritual Care has chaplains with the knowledge and professional skills, the broad heart and soul that can be available in this terrible time, for all those who need us.
