'Magen Shaul-Nokdim' is one of Israel’s leading Pre-Military Academies (Mechinot) for boys, founded by Rav Itamar Cohen. We are located in Nokdim, Gush Etzion, 20 minutes south of Jerusalem. We prepare high school graduates for army service – physically, mentally and spiritually. We have 200 recent graduates serving in front-line units, and 1,800 serving in the IDF Reserves. Emergency Funding Needs: • Scholarships for students from war-affected areas: $5,000 x 10 students • Rocket-Proof Residential Shelters for our students: 3 units @ $50,000 each • Renovating our indoor 'Combat Training Center' in memory of Israels' fallen soldiers: $80,000 Pre-Military Academies like 'Magen Shaul-Nokdim' play a crucial role in the defense of our country, because today’s Mechina students will be tomorrow’s IDF soldiers.
