Support CF patients at a time of war‏

The daily difficulties faced by CF patients and their families are compounded by the challenging situation everyone in Israel is facing during this time of war. This increased complexity in their lives has created an even greater need for support in various areas of activity, such as: • The urgent need to provide equipment for patients who have been evacuated from the conflict regions of the South and the North. • Many of the respiratory therapists who provide daily respiratory therapy are not available due to their personal circumstances (including many who have been called up for emergency reserve duty), and assistance is required to transport available therapists from distant areas. • The purchase of portable nebulizers and chargers that can be brought to protected areas and shelters. • Financial support for CF families who have been forced to evacuate their homes on the periphery and move to central Israel with no income, furniture, or basic necessities. • Childcare assistance for families that need to care for a CF patient, while their other children are at home due to the situation. • Psychological support to alleviate stress and anxiety, that negatively impact the patients' health. • Items to distract children with CF, to improve their compliance with treatments.
