Educate for cooperation between people with the aim of establishing a healthy and creative society based on the vision that the human being can live in harmony with himself, with others, and with the environment. Awaken and cultivate capacities of leadership in Israeli youth, so that they can become young leaders in Israeli society. Bring people closer to a simple, modest life; to manual labor; to creativity; and to nature. Foster the creation of ecological living spaces in which the human being is harmoniously integrated with the environment. Guide people in sustainable living practices: organic agriculture; building with local materials; using available and renewable energy; recycling water; using organic waste and more. Establish learning institutions that will educate youth in the spirit of the Association’s goals. Support the growth and development of habitation in the Negev region. Make the desert bloom by cultivating desolate, arid areas of the Negev region, for the benefit of regional residents and visitors to the area. Strengthen the connection between the Jews in Israel and Jews in the diaspora. Description of the association’s activities The “Anshei Maase” association was established in 1984 in Jerusalem.
