Eckstein Association - a project for widows and widowers

Widows and widowers who lost their loved ones in civil bereavement have no answer. Losing a life partner is a difficult experience, and it often comes with a sudden and unexpected change in circumstances. Many widows and widowers struggle to manage and navigate their grief. The difficulty in facing the loss changes the reality of life and is very difficult for the widow/widow and the immediate family in fact losing a significant person who was a major part of the life of the relatives and orphans In our reality today in the Land of Israel, the rate of death and new widows and widowers who lose their spouse in a civil bereavement is about 50,000 each year. The Eckstein association in the Queen of Sheba project adopts the widows and widowers who lost their loved ones in civil bereavement and produces a supporting envelope, in order to provide an answer to a large population without an answer. The Widows and Widowers Project aims to ease this burden by offering financial assistance, counseling services and educational opportunities to help them regain stability and rebuild their lives. As part of the project, we provide an emotional response in regular meetings and talks by professionals, we hold tours and social gatherings, the community meets for enrichment lectures and alleviating loneliness, we speak in a familiar language in the peer group and create a supportive community that saves and changes the reality of life. Our community of widows and widowers between the ages of 45-60 has grown and today numbers about 2500 widows and widowers. In these difficult days, the situation of widows and widowers who have lost their loved ones is as difficult as everyone else's, in addition to the difficulty, they experience post-trauma and a process of regression and sometimes dysfunction. These days we are increasing the assistance, the conversations and the meetings to help and help to return to routine, and to support the widows and widowers and to be a stable address for you.
